School Rules

School Rules



  • Millennium Academy is registered with the state as a Tuition Free non-profit publicly supported educational organization.

  • Millennium Academy will conduct school operation for 215 days each year.

  • There shall be no discrimination against students, administrators or any employee.

  • Teachers and personnel in direct contact with students will be required to arrive at work by 7:45 A.M and depart no earlier than 4:00 P.M.

  • Timeliness by all employees and students is a requirement of the academy for the success of this program.

  • Students will be required to participate in the Fitness program daily.
    Refusal of any student to participate in the fitness program will be cause for dismissal from the Academy.

  • Parents/Caregivers will be required to provide transportation to and from school for their students.

  • Applicants will be required to show proof of two years of residency in Polk County or five years of residency in central Florida.

  • Applicants will be required to present a notarized health form from a registered/certified physician indicating the state of health and the most recent measured Body Fat Index of the student.

  • Students will be assessed using a recognized testing method and their classroom work at the end of each eight weeks of school.

  • Parents/caregivers will be required to attend a school wide information night at the end of each eight weeks grading period.

  • Parents/Caregivers will be required to contribute one hour of volunteer time to the school each month.

  • Students will be required to be toilet trained before the first day of school.

  • Students will be required to feed themselves before the first day of school.

  • Students will be required to be practicing hygiene skills before the first day of school.

  • Students will be required to participate in the Fitness program daily.

  • Interruption of instructions due to inappropriate behavior by any student will not be tolerated.

  • First offense will be cause for a reprimand by the Headmistress followed by a call to parents/caregivers.

  • Second offense will be cause for a call to parents/caregivers to notify about an intended 3-day suspension from school beginning on the next school day.

  • The third offense will be cause for dismissal with no opportunity to return to Millennium Academy.
